Standard recovery starts at £150.00, which covers the call out and your first 10 miles. Every mile after that is charged at £2.50. Out-of-hours recovery carries a £150.00 premium on top of the standard call out, with additional miles charged at £5.00. You can work out an indicative price using the recovery calculator on this page, and we'll confirm the exact figure on the phone before we set off.

The £150.00 call out covers our travel to you, loading your vehicle onto the flatbed, securing it properly, and transporting it up to 10 miles to your chosen destination.

Miles are counted from the collection point to the destination. The first 10 are included in the call out, and each mile beyond that is charged at £2.50 on standard rates, or £5.00 out of hours. So a 30-mile recovery during standard hours is £150.00 plus 20 additional miles at £2.50 — £200.00 in total.

Yes. We recover vehicles in the evenings, overnight, at weekends and on bank holidays. Out-of-hours work carries a £150.00 premium in addition to the standard call out, and additional miles are charged at £5.00 rather than £2.50.

Yes. Non-runners are everyday work for a flatbed. We can winch vehicles onto the bed that won't start, won't steer, won't select a gear or have no keys. Tell us the condition when you call so we bring the right equipment.

Yes. Electric and hybrid vehicles should be moved with all four wheels off the ground to protect the drivetrain and regenerative braking system, which is exactly what a flatbed does. Please let us know the make and model when you book.

Yes. We collect regularly from garages, body shops, dealerships and auction houses, and we can deal directly with the site on release paperwork and collection times if you give us the reference details.

It depends on where you are and where our truck is at the time. When you call we'll give you a realistic arrival window rather than an optimistic one — and if we can't get to you quickly, we'll say so.

Your location, where the vehicle needs to go, the make, model and registration, and the condition it's in — running, non-running, accident damaged or unsure. If the vehicle is in a car park, on a driveway or somewhere with restricted access, tell us that too so we bring the right kit.

By bank transfer, before the vehicle is loaded. Paying cash for scrap vehicles is not permitted under UK scrap metal rules, so any buyer offering you cash is not operating legally.

It makes things simpler, but it isn't always a dealbreaker — tell us the situation when you get in touch. You'll need to prove the vehicle is yours to sell, and we'll give you a receipt and the paperwork you need to notify the DVLA that it has changed hands.
